MEPH Design

Able to work from inception through to project completion. We are adept at working either client side for project managers, building surveyors or end users or contractor side for both main or sub contractors. 

With experience in delivering projects in varying size and of varying types. We have experience in delivering commercial, residential, industrial and mixed use schemes in both London and surrounding areas. 

Our founding director has experience in delivering project overseas. And it is a service that is offered by the business. 

Our designs encompass the full MEPH suite of requirements typical of the project types noted above. 

Throughout the design phase we work collaboratively to understand our clients needs and goals. We then interface with the professional team to ensure this is delivered. 

Calculations, drawings and specifications for tender are then produced which can ecompass:

Plant Replacements

Capital plant replacement projects are also within our design capabilities. 

Whether that be an individual fan coil unit replacement, or a complete replacement of Chillers, Boilers, Pipework and pumps. We are able to provide Design, Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying services as a full turnkey solution. 

Adept at working with a operational site, or vacant one. We have an acute understanding of redundancy, resilience and changover procedures and phasing of works to ensure continued operation of the property in question throughout the plant replacement works.

Pre Acquisition and Technical Due Diligence

We understand that when a building owner, or potential purchasing landlord request our services. We are assessing the existing services with the goal of providing a report which outlines financial and compliance risks. 

This risk, we translate in written format in the form of a description of existing services. Their potential pitfalls. And their expected life expectancy against CIBSE codes. 

We also assess the expected capital expenditure over a 10 year period. Which is reflected in an easy to read and understand dashboard. 

We don’t believe in complex reporting. And we offer a report which is easy to digest. 

We are happy working on individual assets or a wider portfolio. 

Feasibility Studies

During the early stages of a potential project. 

Strategic and conceptual thinking and collaboration is key to enabling our clients to understand the potential of their asset or site. And the business case associated with any proposed developments. 

We can work independently or as part of a team to deliver the high level thinking and reporting which enables informed decision making by our clients. And assists in moving towards project inception.

This may include drawing work, sketches, surveys and reporting

Design Validations

Validations of designs may also be referred to as ‘peer reviews’.

We are adept at reviewing MEPH designs and providing commentary and reporting to assist contractors, developers, end users and project managers.

We can carry out either high level broad reviews or in depth detailed design validation and analysis. 

Design Management & Technical Services Management

As MEP consultants with a broad range of experience both working for contractors, developers and end users. We believe we are well placed to assist main contractors when projects are on site. 

We are able to bridge the gap between client team and contractor. And ensure that each design meets with the clients defined scope. 

In addition, we are then able to work with the site management team and sub contractors and bridge this gap to ensure the works are completed on time and on budget. 

Witnessing, commissioning and handover management and site based problem solving are all key roles and responsibilities that we are adept at delivering.
